Once again, the baker on the bakery ships is DAT BACKHUS for 2015.

To make sure that the Christmas baking tradition is not lost in the families, DAT BACKHUS has supported the Hamburg Fairytale Ships with two bakery ships for the past eight years to pass on this tradition to the youth.

The assurance fee of € 2 for the bakery ticket partly contributes to making the Fairytale Ships in the year 2015 possible. Another part will be donated to a children's project in Hamburg.

Over 10,000 little cookie bakers bake more than 100,000 cookies and 10,000 pastries every year on the ships. 5,000 kg dough, sugar, chocolate sprinkles, and raisins are processed by the little bakers. Placed in a row, the pastry plates would cover a length of 3,300 metres. That is almost twice the distance around the Inner Alster Lake.
